Purana’s says that people get very rare occasions in a life time to participate
in events like renovation and prathishta kalasam of temples like this. The prathishta
of this temple was done during 1675 by Mambattu Bhattathiri and the first renovation
was carried out by Sakthan Thampuran during 1800. Hence, after a period of 213 years,
we are lucky to have a chance to involve in the temple renovation activities. Devotees
shall never lose occasions like this and are requested to participate and contribute
for such a great event in their life time.
Devotees can contribute their offerings as follows:
- By sending account payee cheque in favour of General Convener, Puthankulangara Bhagavathy
Kshethra Punarudharan Samithy,
- Eroor (PO), Tripunithura, PIN – 682306, Kerala.
- Directly by remitting cash / account payee cheque in the offering counter of the
temple.
- By e-transfer of fund to Samithy’s SB account No. 67155169554 in State Bank of Travancore,
Vennala Branch having IFSC SBT R 0000808

The previous projects such as renovation of Siva, Vishnu and Sastha temples during
2004 and dhwaja prathishta of 2008 was made into reality mainly due to the valuable
contributions of devotees of the temple. Whatever portion of this project has been
completed is mainly due to their valuable contributions. We, once again request
all devotees to contribute maximum possible for the timely completion of the project.
We sincerely pray to Lord and Lourdes of the temple to shower all their blessings
on devotees for their good health and wealth.
