The day to day activities of the temple are managed by the Trustees of the temple. The Managing Trustee of the temple is the senior most male member of Muriyamangalath Mana. Yearly functions of the temple such as Vinayaka Chathurdhi, Sreekrishna Jayanthi, Navarathry, Sivarathry, Karkidakavavu, Dhwajaprathishta Dinam etc. are managed by the Trust itself.

The annual celebrations such as Utsavam, Kalamezhuthu Pattu, Meenabharani and the monthly function of Namajapam and Thiruvathira Oottu are managed by Puthankulangara Sivakshethra Kshema Samithy, formed by members elected from general body of devotees, functioning under the Trust..

In order to carry out time bound projects, committees elected from general body of devotees to execute that project will be constituted under the Trust and after execution of the project it will be dispersed off by transferring the assets to temple account.

A core committee consisting of Trust’s representative, advisors of Trust, office bearers of committees, and representing staff of temple will coordinate and monitor all the activities of the temple for smooth functioning of the temple.

Puthankulangara temple is considered to be one of the ancient and renowned Siva temples of Kochi region. The devotees of the temple have got their own experience and the stories mentioned above are very few as told and transferred from generations to generations. The satisfaction and relief of a devotee by worshipping the Lord and Lourdes of the temple is the honor of the temple. The spiritual and mental development of individuals will lead to healthy atmosphere in their homes thereby creating good citizens. The society will be benefited due to this and the root cause for all the development in this area is due to the development of the temple. The role of devotees is major and whatever development occurred in the temple is due to their soul, hard work and prayers.
