Puthankulangara Temple

The day to day activities of the temple are managed by the trustees of the temple (members of Muriyamangalathu Mana). A Core Committee consisting of Thanthri, Sthapathy, Trustees, Advisory Committee Members, Kshethrakshema Samithy office bearers and Staff of temple is coordinating the day to day activities and other matters of the temple. The annual functions of the temple such as Vinayaka Chathurdhi, Sreekrishna Jayanthi, Navarathry, Sivarathry, Karkidakavavu, Dhwajaprathishta Dinam etc. are also managed by the Core Committee. The celebrations of the temple such as Utsavam, Kalamezhuthu Pattu, Meenabharani and Thiruvathira Oottu are managed by Puthankulangara Sivakshethra Kshema Samithy, formed by members elected from general body of devotees.

In order to carry out time bound projects, Committee elected from general body of devotees to execute that project will be constituted and after execution of the project it will be dispersed off by transferring all its assets to the temple. Puthankulangara temple is considered to be one of the ancient renowned Siva temples of Kerala. The devotees of the temple have their own stories and experience with the temple as told and transferred from generations to generations. The satisfaction and relief obtained by the devotees by worshipping the Lord and Lourdes of the temple will lead to their spiritual and mental development which in turn create a society with good health and wealth. The whole hearted dedication of devotees with their cooperation, hard work and prayer over the years has resulted in the development of the temple.
